What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?
Originally , when Roche Research closed, my husband was offered the free financial advice from Birchwood Investment company with Trevor Sims, Peter’s father. This was in 2001. So we continued using their services with Trevor until 2021, then Peter took over the account.
How has Peter Simms helped you?
Following my husbands death in 2021, he has advised me on reducing my IHT burden, given general financial advice on restructuring my portfolio and updated my investments.
Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?
Definitely!
What could they have done better?
Suggested a different Company from Quilter in which to take out an Investment Bond in order to reduce my IHT burden, as there were numerous communication issues with Quilter.
