My wife and I decided to consolidate our savings, investments and pensions into one manageable "package".

How has James Britton helped you?

James went through each area of our savings, investments and pensions. He evaluated our options and gave us a series of scenarios for us to consider. He produced a very clear and realistic picture for us so that we could consider what we could do.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

We have completed the consolidation process and now wait to see what transpires. We have achieved what we want, which is a clear picture of our assets and the ability to make the most of protecting and growing our assets.

What could they have done better?

James has delivered what he has promised.

As I am now retired & my husband soon to be so, we needed to re- evaluate our investments & think about investing capital that at the moment is sitting in bank accounts not earning interest.

Recently lost our previous advisor, and needed urgent help with financial planning since selling our business and facing impending retirement.

How has James Britton helped you?

He was very thorough going through all aspects of our finances, listening closely to our needs and soon realised that we are cautious investors. His overall vision for our finances was very enlightening. Hopefully we now have everything in place for a secure future.

Counting down 4 more years to retirement and we are now confident that everything is in place for a comfortable future.

Everything seems to have been covered thoroughly. If only he could give me advice to help my golf!!

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I have had an offshore trust for many years, in addition to pensions and personal investments. In particular, the offshore trust was underperforming due to lack of professional financial advice from the Trustees.

How has James Britton helped you?

He helped by reviewing all assets and reducing the cash proportion held within the trust by making suitable investments.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

I'm very pleased with the current investment profile now that it is under proper financial management. The portfolio is now well balanced and providing both growth and income.

What could they have done better?

I think it is probably too early to make meaningful and constructive comments at this stage. Perhaps in 3 years time ?

What could they have done better?

This is just something I think that would be appropriate but difficult, is offer a review of the product annually. Though I guess everyone has a need at a different time of life so could one predict a review or forecast say every 2 years as a norm?

My situation was understood well and I feel confident that the advice and investments made were right for. I feel that James is very knowledgeable.

What could they have done better?

We didn't discuss charges but of course I expect to pay for the advice, I saw what these were once I received the paperwork. We didn't talk about what I should be saving now for my future retirement but in fairness I only asked for the pension pot I had to be looked at and invested, but any advice on what I should be saving now would good to know.
