I am an Independent Financial Adviser specialising in retirement planning. I have previously worked in Engineering and also in various Investment Banks in the City of London which gives me a strong grounding to help clients navigate this key stage of life. I typically work with two types of people: Retiring soon: These people tend to be in their late 50s or early 60s and have a date in mind for retirement. Considering Retirement: Typically over 50 and want to focus on their own finances as their children move into adulthood. They aren't sure exactly when they want to retire but most likely within the next 5-10 years. All clients are looking for comprehensive retirement planning, not just someone that discusses investments. At weekends I coach my son's rugby club and try and get out on the bike and enjoy the lovely routes around Pyrford. My lockdown project was to write a book on retirement planning which is available on Amazon: 'Planning for Retirement: Your Guide to Financial Freedom'.
