What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I needed to save for a pension as I knew the state pension would not be enough and get a higher return on savings than I could get with the bank.

How has Mark Easter helped you?

If my investments are not performing well in a 3-month period, he advices me to do fund switches with the investments so that they perform better by selling the units in the funds that are not doing well and buying replacements he thinks will perform better.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Not yet, but because of Covid19 and the war in Ukraine there has been a big downturn all over the world with a cost-of-living crises and high inflation, but I am confident I will get the outcome I am hoping for in the future.

What could they have done better?

Nothing really things have been very difficult this year with 3 different PM`s, but I do think Sunak and Hunt will do an excellent job.

I've been a client of DBL for many years, advised by Paula up until her retirement. We had an excellent rapport so I was a bit apprehensive about getting to know a new advisor. When my account was transferred to Mark I was pleasantly surprised how smoothly the changeover was. A credit really to DBL, Paula & Mark who took the time to make sure I was happy with things.

How has Mark Easter helped you?

He's very approachable & if I've any queries I always get prompt responses. He's been very thorough in analysing my pension account with DBL & my financial situation in general so he can best advise me, especially in the years between me retiring early & receiving my state pension. In these uncertain financial times he's also managed my modest pension pot well, switching funds where needed to ensure I get best returns

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes I've been pleased with how my pension pot is managing to hold steady in volatile financial markets - due wholly I'm sure to the regular monitoring of the funds, switching out of the underperforming ones into better options when needed.

What could they have done better?

Nothing comes to mind - I get good service from Mark & DBL.
