What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?
When I retired from full-time employment, I needed advice on the management of my pension and long-term finacial requirements. Initially, I received advice from Ken Bray, subsequently from Nick, with whom my wife and I review our financial situation every six months.
How has Nick Swartout helped you?
his most significant assistance was; to set up an Equity Release facility to enable me to pay the local authority for my care costs, and to reduce the amount drawn from my personal pension fund. This set it at a sustainable level, consistently maintained subsequently, and also reduced the amount of the local authority's care charges
