What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

Heard about Nick through a talk he did at the care home introducing the services that his company offer. I followed up with him post- event as i was interested to hear more details about how he may be able to help our family make long term care provisions for my mum in the care home.

Nick quickly understood our family situation Once he had all the relevant details he sought out and compiled the returned quotes from the various specialist providors & repsented them in an easy to understand format.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes, we decided to take up a policy, and again Nick was quick to conclude all the admin to enable the policy to commence in a very short space of time, as soon as our family had made the decision to proceed.

What could they have done better?

I can't think of anything they could have done better, it was a ood experience beginning to end. I will glady recommend Nick to friends with elderely parents to look after.

My sister and I met with Nick to discuss to the best way forward to help our elderly parents who have increasing care needs. It was an extremely helpful meeting, Nick was extremely informative and gave us lots of helpful pointers and we learnt a great deal -making us feel so much better informed. I would highly recommend Nick if you need advice or help in this area.

I had a good feeling about Nick before we met him, due to his SOLLA profile. We found Nick to be friendly, resourceful, patient and really helpful. He has a wealth of experience, signposted us to lots of relevant help, helped us look at a range of options and understand the impact of possible decisions. He was relaxed, which made us relaxed as care and finances are not an easy topic. We didn’t feel rushed and had all our questions answered, leaving us in a much better position moving forward. Thank you Nick, we really appreciated your help, we would highly recommend you to anyone looking at later life care and finances.

I was seeking to purchase an annuity as I was only in receipt of the state pension

I decided that I would like to take early retirement and I was not sure if it was going to be feasible.

How has Nick Hutchings helped you?

Nick has guided me through the entire process of planning my financial future and consolidating my pension arrangements so that I can realise my ambitions. Frankly it is a huge shame that I did not go to see him in 2003 and when I first moved to Oxford. If I had done I think I would be loaded!

So far the process has been very easy and he has been extremely positive and supportive. It has been a huge relief.

What could they have done better?

I can't answer that! Maybe there will be something down the line but so far he has been outstanding.
