I wanted help with retirement planning I have a lump sum to invest and was unsure how to get the best outcome from it.

Not yet as we are only starting out on the journey but I have confidence in the product

To know how much I had for retirement and how much I need to continue to save to reach my retirement income. To have everything on one platform.

How has Alex Henry helped you?

Achieved what I wanted. Alex knew his products, understood where I was at and where I wanted to get to without using too much complex wording/language.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Early days. But happy with the one platform. Still awaiting one pension transfer but Alex is keeping on it.

What could they have done better?

Nothing but may be too early to say as I am a new client.

I had a very positive meeting with Alex. He was flexible with scheduling and was able to meet in the evening, which worked perfectly around my family routine and putting my kids to bed. We spent around two hours going through my finances in detail, and I appreciated how thorough and knowledgeable he was throughout. Alex carefully reviewed my various accounts and took the time to explain everything clearly. In particular, his detailed review of my pension was extremely helpful, and he provided practical, tailored advice on how to maximise my finances—both for my own future and for investing on behalf of my children. Overall, I found the session very valuable and informative.

Alex has been very helpful and generous with his time. He clearly has a high level of expertise and I strongly feel he is always giving me the best possible advice even if it means creating less business for himself.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

Having bought our home and settled in now (with Alex's help getting us a mortgage at his last workplace) we wanted to talk about our pensions and how to start putting money away for our son.

How has Alex Henry helped you?

Alex is always attentive, responsive, and just generally a really nice person to deal with and while we're not looking to do anything right this minute (for various reasons) Alex was still more than happy to give us his time and guidance.
