What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I wanted to understand whether my existing pension pots were performing well based upon their risk level, whether they enabled flexible drawdown, were the fees reasonable, and could they be transferred to my children upon the death or myself and my wife. Plus were there any benefits to transferring and consolidating them.

Callum has provided comprehensive answers to all my questions. I have since transferred a number of my funds and consolidated them under one provider.

We were looking for an advisor who would understand our needs and wanted just straight forward advise....none of the cloak and dagger stuff. Came highly recommended to us and never looked back. Callum is the Top Man.

I met Callum by chance networking, liked his style and after listening to a knowledgeable presentation I decided I needed to update my pension.

How has Callum Pye helped you?

He has been very organised, thorough and helpful. I am very busy most days so it was great that Callum was able to work with my schedule and also take care of the majority of the paperwork for me saving me time.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes - definitely - I no longer need to worry about my pension as Callum will be advisor for the foreseeable future and keep an eye on this for me.

U needed to sort out my pensions and get a up to date policy and plan in order for when I retire

I was recommended Callum from our accountant. He is very professional and knowledgeable and takes you through every step at ease so u understand as it’s a minefield and finds the right pension that suits your personal situation at the time.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

We were considering equity release when I met Callum at a social function. I was aware of Callum's background and asked for his advice. Rather than spoil the function we made an appointment

How has Callum Pye helped you?

Throughout the whole process Callum has given us sound advice. No overly complicated explanations or technical speak, just easy to understand advice. The advice given was comprehensive. He even did a lot of the computer searches that were my task for me. I am not the greatest at IT!

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Unfortunately no. This is no reflection on Callum. The demands of the lenders for the small sum we wanted were beyond what we were prepared to do. We made the decision to pull out and again Callum helped us through the process with no fuss and made it all stress free.

What could they have done better?

Nothing. He supported us throughout, kept us fully informed and did a lot more than we could of hoped for.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

Last Adviser i used took his fee but did not manage the funds, and the company it was invested with went in to receivership twice and still not contact from my Adviser.

How has Callum Pye helped you?

Callum contacted the companies holding my ISA and looked at comparisons he could offer. This all took place one year ago, i pleased to confirm my isa is now preforming better and I feel it is in a more secure situation as it is being properly managed on my behalf. Callum has also investigated another savings account i have and this is being left where it is as there is no benefit of moving it. This year we have reviewed a private pension and moved this to a company recommended by Callum.

Yes so far my ISA is preforming better.

What could they have done better?

One year on its hard to say what could improve, i am happy with the advice and feel that my portfolio is now being managed and monitored.

Callum is a very experienced financial advisor . His knowledge and advice is second to none . My only disappointment is I wished I had been recommended to him years ago . He makes you feel at ease when meeting at home and everything he says he will sort out he never lets you down .
