Her great advice continues to help me every day. It was invaluable.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for a financial coach?

I have received an inheritance and it has enabled me to think about the possibility of getting back on the property ladder . The emotionally attachment to the money made me doubt and second guess my decision making and I felt that I needed someone who I could talk it through with in a sympathetic a professional manner.

How has Catherine Thomas-Humphreys helped you?

Catherine has helped me so much by talking through my worries and concerns. She was also interested in me as a person and took time to hear my back story and was genuinely interested and empathetic. I felt that I could express my feelings and emotions without being judged. We discussed the advantages and disadvantages with regards to renting, as I currently do, over owning my own property. So many people just dismiss renting as dead money or paying someone else's mortgage, where as Catherine appreciated and understood how renting can offer the flexibility and how it has worked for me over the last few years.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Having Catherine as my financial coach I have been able to detach the money from the emotional difficulties I was experiencing. I now know that that by buying a property in the town where I have made my home, it will have honoured the wish of my benefactor who wanted me to be settled and secure and make plans for my retirement...while having a bit of fun!

What could they have done better?

Catherine was professional, kind, easy to talk to and above all a good listener, who took time to work with me in my decision making process. Everything was perfect from start to finish.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for a financial coach?

I was somewhat ‘lost’ financially and felt like my relationship with money was really holding me back in life. I needed some direction and space to explore what I could perhaps change to move me forward.

How has Catherine Thomas-Humphreys helped you?

Working with Catherine was without a doubt the best thing I could have possibly done in terms of getting me out of my rut. Within a matter of hours, my mindset had shifted and I was looking at my situation with a completely new set of eyes. She gave me valuable advice and insight that I could never have managed for myself.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

More than I could have believers! ! I have grown exponentially in terms of my relationship with money - and the blocks I had that were keeping me stuck are now a thing of the past. I have real optimism and confidence in the future now and I know I can make a success of the plans for my business.

What could they have done better?

I genuinely couldn’t suggest anything - Catherine ticked every box and then ticked other boxes I didn’t even know I needed!! I would highly recommend her to anybody as her honesty, integrity and genuine care is just fantastically reassuring.

Please provide a brief comment about your experience with Catherine

Really enjoyed our introductory call. It gave me so much to think about my beliefs around money. Catherine is so gentle and I didn’t feel judged about my situation at all.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for a financial coach?

Wanting to become more mindful rather than have my head in the sand. Wanting to make my money go further and work for me rather than against me

From the first session, so many aha moments landed and stayed with me well after the session. Real practical steps I could and did take to becoming more mindful of my relationship with money.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

So far yes, although the journey is always ongoing!

What could they have done better?

Not sure within the context of coaching that Catherine could have offered more!
