What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for a financial coach?

I am looking to start my own business and Terence was really helpful in helping me set up plans for this. As well as helping me see how I can save and begin thinking financially.

How has Terence Lapidus helped you?

Not only was Terence incredibly helpful in helping me begin to think financially in a business sense, Terence also gave me incredible tips on how to get started thinking commercially -who my target audience is, what are my goals with it etc. This has helped in putting together a business plan. Terence also showed me how best to utilise various tools such as AI to help smooth various parts of the planning for me.

Absolutely! It has really helped me get into the mind set and put together a business plan.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Since forecasting different plans with Terence, my financial goals have completely changed as we looked at the return on investments of a buy-to-let versus careful investment. I'm now planning my future based on the latter, a decision that I would never have chosen were it not for Terence's counsel, and have started to build my credit score. His advice has been invaluable and always respectful!

What could they have done better?

Drawing a blank. Would also add to the above that Terence is super friendly which makes sessions something I look forward to rather than feel anxious about.

For an initial consultation, Terence was really helpful. He explained the process, provided an example financial planner/model so we were able to see what we could be receiving/working on with Terence in the future. His answers to all questions were clear. I am at the stage in my career where proximity to retirement meant Terence was not able to offer a great deal of input. Terence gave some hints for my general savings that was useful. I would not recommend Hatch to others as I don't really know what Hatch can do for them nor what services my friends may require. Hatch was introduced to me by my employer. This is not a reflection of the call with Terence.

Terence is an excellent speaker and explained what I could do to improve my financial health regardless of whether I use Hatch in the future. He clearly answered any questions I had and suggested some action items that could keep me on track. Very happy with our first session and looking forward to more!

Terence was super helpful in providing some initial guidance and ways that I can take some first steps into looking after my money better. I started out on the call 100% set on being not interested in taking out any annual services, however, by the end of the 30 minutes we had I am strongly considering working with Terence as a financial planner - which I think is a great testament to his advice.

I was keen to embark on a business relationship with Terence, but regrettably he was prevented from proceeding because I am within a few years of retirement. I am deeply disappointed about this as it seems FCA guidelines will prevent me obtaining from anyone the advice I really need.
