What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for a financial coach?

I was looking for support for a group of employees who were made redundant as part of an outsourced programme. These individuals needed assistance navigating both the emotional and practical aspects of the redundancy process, including financial planning and preparing for their redundancy packages.

How has Kim Uzzell helped you?

Kim provided a series of eight sessions that addressed not only financial advice but also emotional support. She is not your typical money coach, she is a financial psychologist and went beyond just numbers to help people cope emotionally while providing practical steps to take during this challenging time. Kim also made time to listen carefully to questions, truly understood the brief, and connected deeply with the audience, addressing the specific challenges they were facing. Additionally, she helped promote the sessions, ensuring we reached as many people as possible.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Absolutely. The feedback we received was overwhelmingly positive, with several individuals sharing messages in our support group about how much the sessions had helped them at a time when they felt at rock bottom. Kim’s advice and insights made a real difference, providing hope and clarity when it was needed most.

What could they have done better?

Honestly, there is nothing I would suggest for improvement. Kim was brilliant to work with, and she completely delivered on what was needed for both the organisation and the employees. She exceeded expectations in every way.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for a financial coach?

A close friend recommended Kim’s Money Bucket Bootcamp and as someone who has had a shaky relationship with money at times, I was keen to give the sessions a try.

Kim was an absolute revelation. Her style is open and relatable. I felt her tips were easy to execute and her counsel extremely thought-provoking. I have already implemented some of the tools presented and look forward to continuing on this trail.

I’m seeing a difference already and this is just the start of my change of direction in terms of the way I manage my finances.

What could they have done better?

Kim’s support was excellent and there was nothing I believe Kim could have done better. She was flexible in the way she delivered her sessions and covered topics that emerged as participants asked specific questions. I’ve already recommended Kim to several of my friends and I plan to call on her services again in the near future. Thank you, Kim. You are an inspiration.

I reached financial rock bottom due to Unforeseen circumstances which encouraged me to look for a financial coach.

How has Kim Uzzell helped you?

Firstly, Kim helped me to understand what is the emotional spending and the trauma behind it. She gave me tools to identify the trauma, the spending and how to deal with it. Secondly, Kim offers safe space that I could talk about money without fear of being judged and criticised. She helped me to organise my financial not just for now but for the future as well. Kim coached me how to value myself and what limited beliefs I was holding regarding money. I learned how to save money and be comfortable of wanting more and achieving my goals about money. Thirdly, Kim will take you step by step in the journey of financial situation by explaining things in simple but powerful way. I never thought I would be brave enough to invest, no prior knowledge at all but because of Kim's coaching, knowledge, expertise and experience now I feel confident to learn about that area too.

I received more than I paid for. Kim is amazing and I would recommend to everyone.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for a financial coach?

I have wanted and needed to get some financial coaching/mentoring for a while in order to understand and work through some money trauma issues but also to learn how to make my money work harder.

How has Kim Uzzell helped you?

Working with Kim has been life changing. In a very short space of time I've been able to unpick the issues that were causing the trauma and put strategies in place to ease it. I've also gained knowledge around different types of investments and have started to plan for mine and my families future.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

I've been blown away and I'm already in a much better position (emotionally and financially) after only 2 months. Kim explains everything in a way that is so easy to understand and I've felt comfortable to open up to her in ways I wouldn't do with a financial advisor or any other professional. Kim's approach isn't just focused on the money stuff - it's so much more. When you can understand why you do the things you do with money and the way you feel about money, only then can you start to change your relationship with money. And that's where Kim comes in. She helps you get right to the root of things.
