What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for a financial coach?

I was put in touch with Martin via my employer. It was handy because looking for a financial coach is difficult so this eased the path and ensured that I would find a trusted, qualified coach to help me with my financial decisions.

How has Martin Way helped you?

Martin actually took the time to look through the research and documentation that I had generated to date so it was a much more curated view of my financial plans than I was expecting. He simplified some of the more complex situations and gave me an opinion on areas that I was unsure of and helped me plan for the future.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Initially yes but this is a longer term commitment so it's all going well so far.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for a financial coach?

It was offered as a work benefit, and I felt it was about time to be less passive about my money management.

How has Martin Way helped you?

Martin helped me plan around big life goals, and was able to adapt when I found out about big changes in future income/inheritance partway through our scheduled meetings. I learnt more about how to plan ahead for the future, and prepare in good time for retirement.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

I have not yet been in a position to implement the advice given, but the advice was easy to understand and I will know what to do and how to do it when I do get a chance to act on the advice.

What could they have done better?

N/A, Martin was very clear and helped me get a better understanding of how pensions etc work.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for a financial coach?

My husband and I have 3 growing children, a mortgage, bills, jobs and thought it was about time!

Martin was absolutely brilliant. He was patient, asked good questions and listened well to us. He carefully suggested some ideas that we ought to consider.

Our sessions motivated us to get on with it and put some saving plans in place. We would highly recommend Martin!

Yes. I've got a much clearer picture of my finances and what I can achieve.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for a financial coach?

I wanted to make sure that I was on top of my finances and had made all of the right considerations. I've wanted to ensure that with Wedding and travel plans in the next 1-2 years, i could afford the costs whilst still remaining financially healthy.

How has Martin Way helped you?

Martin helped me to understand my future costs and in what areas i should be putting my money in order to plan for these costs. He also helped me to understand the importance of building an emergency fund and to consider potential insurances.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes, I've been able to plan for the upcoming costs and has given me confidence that i will be able to afford to meet my expectations for my travel plans next year
