I have been a Mortgage Adviser since 2010, and a Mortgage Broker since 2013. My experience in the Banking and Financial Services industry spans for 30 years. I previously worked with Banks and other Mortgage Broker firms before deciding to set up own company. My particular area of interest is helping clients with their mortgages needs. Whether you are a first timer, home mover, or you need to remortgage your property or portfolio whether it be for residential uses, or for investment purposes. I am also a Protection Adviser and can help provide solutions to your insurance needs which we categorise into Life insurance: to protect you in the event of death, Critical illness cover: to provide you with a lump sum if you get seriously ill, and Income Protection: to replace your income when you cannot work long term due to sickness or injury. I can also assist with your General insurance needs such as Buildings insurance, Landlords insurance and contents cover. I am fully qualified through the Chartered Insurance Institute and hold the Financial Planning Certificate which shows how "old skool" I am as it has now changed to a Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning. I also hold the CeMap Qualification for Mortgages. My client base is very diverse ranging from young professionals just starting their mortgage journey to more established homeowners and their families. Whilst my clients are more concentrated in London and Kent, I have clients throughout the UK. I believe the key to being a good adviser is having a reasonable level of technical knowledge but more importantly the ability to listen and connect with what really matters to clients. My job is to help put a solution in place and look at all the options available to you. With mortgages, going direct to a bank or building society cannot offer you this service, and they may not be able to assist depending on your circumstances. If you work with me, I will go out of my way to assist. My spare time tends to revolve around my family, and I am a Parish Councillor in my local area.
