He helped us reason with an uncooperative estate agent, and chased our solicitor to keep things moving and helped fast-track our mortgage application when we needed. His support throughout was hands-on and incredibly helpful. Simon was always friendly, professional, and easy to get hold of. Whether it was a quick question or something more complex, he was just a phone call away and always happy to help. In terms of value for money, we genuinely think Simon is outstanding. The level of service he provides is far beyond what we expected, especially for first-time buyers like us.

I met Simon at one of my previous jobs when he helped implement a workplace pension scheme for the company. Since then he has been my mortgage advisor for a number of years.

Simon has helped us with 3 mortgages and gave us some invaluable advice just at the start of COVID, which was to fix in for 5 years as things were looking a bit sketchy! This has saved us thousands of pounds.

Given the difference in age between my wife and myself, we were finding it challenging to get mortgage offers from the usual websites, so we realised we needed professional advice.

How has Simon Law helped you?

Simon really took the time to understand our circumstances and what we were trying to achieve. Our first plan to buy didn't come to fruition and so we left it about a year and came back to Simon. To his credit even though he didn't receive any business from us the first time, he picked up where we left with total professionalism. Simon was able to find a product that met our needs and was happy to model some variables to maximum the value to us.

We are very happy with the mortgage he found. The interest rate decreased just before we completed, and Simon reprocessed our application to the lower rate, even though we had technically finished our purchase through him.
