We were moving house, selling AND buying for the first time. We needed to port an existing mortgage, take out additional borrowing and be left with enough cash on hand to allow for renovation in our new property.

Using Richard meant we were able to relax about the mortgage and financial arrangements knowing it was being handled correctly. This is such a great benefit with all the stress of moving house.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I was in need of advice regarding Equity Release. I am divorced, and fairly recently retired. Having been self-employed all my life, and with no pension apart from a State Pension, and savings close to being depleted, I was in need of funds for my future, particularly as I had moved to a new home, which needed work done to it.

Richard guided me through the process thoroughly, patiently explaining things several times, in order for me to be confident that this was the right step for my future. Being single, I felt vulnerable about making such a huge financial decision on my own.

I’m extremely happy with the outcome, and I feel my future is secure. Many of the projects I needed to do have been achieved, and I’m looking forward to achieve further projects.
