Initially used Ben to help me purchase first home back around 7 years ago, and since then he has found us two new mortgages when our fixed rate deal ended getting us much cheaper interest rates than what we would have been paying otherwise.

I initially wanted to apply for a mortgage with my partner, however there was difficulties this being approved by the bank due to us living in different cities. I searched for advisors online with very little hope however, luckily Ben came up on the search.

Ben was very knowledgeable in explaining my options and allowed me to choose from a range of options. Ben is great at his job as he is patient, friendly and kind. The housing process is already a very stressful situation, however working with someone who is genuinely interested in meeting your needs makes it less stressful.

Without Ben, I would not be able to have applied for a mortgage not only did he support me getting on the property ladder but I was able to complete a single application! I faced a few challenges with the solicitors however Ben advocated for me and It was very quickly resolved.

I genuinely cannot comment as he did more than what I could have asked for. Ben is very dedicated to his role ensuring his clients needs are met.

Ben waded through all the paperwork so I didn't have to. As a self employed person with a very up and down income over the last few years, I was appreciative of Ben's perseverance and honesty when dealing with my remortgage. He found me a great deal and I took a few years off the term too! Having heard all sorts of horror stories about getting a mortgage as a freelancer (and some horrendous experiences as a first time buyer), I was surprised how easy Ben made it.

Being a Tier 2 mortgage applicant, there were limited options/visibility of options to obtain favourable mortgages from lenders. Most mortgage lenders were happy to lend but asking for very large deposits relative to the percentage deposits typically required of residents.

What could they have done better?

Communication throughout the process was great - that’s the most importantly thing for me when dealing with something so important. In all honesty, I can’t really think of anything to change. It was very straight forward.

Yes, took a bit longer than expected but this was down to my original lender dragging the prosese out and not down to Ben as he was constantly chasing them even on his holiday.

What could they have done better?

Nothing, I have delt with a number of financial advisors over the years and he is by far the best. Honest, considerate, understanding, excellent knowledge of the market place and what is best for you. But most off all which myself and past and future customers will make a judgement on is that you don’t over charge for your services. An honest days pay for an honest days work .

My appraisal of Ben could not be higher. From the moment we met Ben until completion he has been able to explain everything and also reply to any of my concerns with in minutes. This comfort when buying a house and dealing with all the relevant parties is worth every penny. Someone who understands the process is accurate, swift and professional is hard to find when buying a house and I wouldn’t hesitate to use Ben again or recommend him to anyone.
