We were 1st time buyers and needed a mortgage advisor to help apply for mortgage, get an idea of the different available offers and to generally guide us through the whole house buying process.

Since we were new to this, we needed guidance on several issues such as solicitors, dealing with estate agents etc and Catherine was supportive throughout the entire process.

What could they have done better?

Since we were 1st time buyers, we were perhaps not used to hearing so much jargon related to buying house and mortgage. It would be helpful if the terminology related to the mortgage and purchase were a bit less technical and more colloquial, to ensure there is no chance of any misunderstanding.
