About

Over 30 years' experience as a Mortgage Adviser and Protection adviser within High Street Banks, Estate Agents and National Advice Firms. I joined Thompson Jenner in September 2022 in a new role for the company as a dedicated mortgage adviser for both existing and new customers. The time has just flown and the role has expanded over time to include Life Insurance, Critical Illness and Income Protection to fully protect clients and their homes. My particular areas of expertise are residential and buy to let mortgages for first time buyers and home movers. I also provide advice on Equity Release and Retirement interest only mortgages. I am particularly proud to have been accepted by the Equity Release Council and "Which Magazine" as an approved adviser for later life and equity release mortgages. I have assisted everyone from first time buyers, to the self-employed and those with complex needs, to later life lending, buying a commercial property or taking the plunge at auction. I believe the key to being a good adviser is having a good wide level of lender knowledge but more importantly the ability to listen and connect with what really matters to clients to achieve good outcomes all-round. The role here gives me a great sense of job satisfaction and no two days are the same as each clients needs are different. My spare time tends to revolve around my family, pets, painting, craft projects and I currently help run a weekly crafting group in my village.
