What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

Following a separation we were selling our house jointly owned. Claire did our mortgage for that property and was excellent so I didn’t think twice about using her again as my mortgage advisor.

How has Claire Du Pavey helped you?

Claire helped me in so many ways. When we first put the house on the market, Claire helped me establish what I could afford. There was a lot of me asking about whether I could afford this or that and she was so patient and always took the time to check fo me. I was buying a shared ownership property and there were lots of queries surrounding the purchase of the property and Claire took the time to find the answers. Claire was so supportive throughout the purchase, always at the end of the line and also helped with life and contents insurance as well which I am really happy with.

My circumstances have changed since my last re-mortgage yet she still managed to find me a very competitive deal. Thankyou!.

Yes....100%. I also recommended her to 2 of my friends and will happily use again in the future.

What could they have done better?

Nothing, very efficient system for passing information between myself and Claire too. I liked it as I could always check which stage we were at, and using the online portal it meant I didn't have to search for emails etc.

Claire was able to search for the best product on the market that met our requirements. This was much better than the deal that I was able to find myself.

I need a mortgage which was a little complicated.

How has Claire Du Pavey helped you?

Claire held my hand the whole way through, and understood my needs. Anything that I questioned she immediately had the answer. I felt like Claire owned it with me and she was so delighted when I finally received the offer. It was a very long process which I at times got incredibly frustrated with. Claire handled this with true profession and totally understood my distress.

Finally yes, it has taken 4 months to get an offer from one mortgage lender.

What could they have done better?

Nothing at all.

As a home owner myself I know how stressful applying for a mortgage can be but Debbie's situation was much more complicated than usual, so when I secured an offer of mortgage for her I think I was thrilled as she was. I take great pride in what I do and like to think I provide excellent service as I would expect that myself.
