We decided to look for an advisor as we were first time buyers and in circumstances that might have made the mortgage process a bit more challenging, e.g. new jobs, returning expats etc.

How has Christine Paton helped you?

Christine was great - every hurdle that came up, she took it in her stride and got us through with no stress. We started meeting with Christine a couple of months before we even started looking, and she helped us make sure that we had all our documentation and circumstances in the right place and ready to go when the time came. She then guided us through every stage of the process, including insurances and ending with a lovely bottle of Champagne when we moved in! Any questions, she was able to answer. It was also really helpful that she was able to meet in the evenings!

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes! We are now in our new flat (in a really fast time frame), and really happy with our offer and protection!

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

In the past we consolidated a large loan to mortgage which Christine was very knowledgable about, offering honest advice about financial implications in the future. Without that advice I would have made a quick fix decision but now, going forward I am confident I have been given solid advice.

Christine was open and honest and gave many options. She listened and answered any questions we had. I work 9-5 so she also worked around that which made her very accessable.

Yes, even in the new financial climate I feel we have been given good advice and reasonable expectations.
