What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

We were due to remortgage as our fixed price rate was coming to an end and we wanted to explore the different options available to us. Using a financial advisor seemed the best way to know the best options out there without having to spend hours trawling through different website and becoming confused about rates/fees etc.

How has Alexandra Gregory-Chialton helped you?

Alex was incredibly clear and helpful. She made it easy to navigate the range of options out there, including the possibility of taking out additional lending, which was something we considered. Alex presented all of the options to us and was very clear about what our actual costs would be and the differences between what we were paying at the time. She actually found us a deal that was a lower APR than we were paying and we had no fees to pay when we switched. We were incredibly happy and grateful for her help.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes - we have a new, fixed-rate mortgage for five years which is exactly what we were looking for in the current financial climate.

We were so glad we chose Alexandra Gregory-Chialton to help. She found us a large selection of mortgage offers and choices and explained the process in terms which we fully understand (and I really don't think I would have understood without her and definitely would not have found as good a deal as she did for us either.) We are now living in our first home after years of hoping and saving Alex sorted everything out for us so quickly. She also got our insurance sorted for us in a really good deal. We are now able to get settled and we are so happy.

Both myself and my partner have adverse credit and we are both first time buyers so we needed advice. I was also referred to Alex by a friend who she also helped with buying their first home who also highly rated their experience.

How has Alexandra Gregory-Chialton helped you?

She had explained what we need to do in order to make us look appealing to lenders and found lenders who are willing to consider us. She has explained how much we need for a deposit and how much our monthly repayments will be per month based on how much it we lend. We signed some documents and provided her with our income and expenditure forms and she has done everything on our behalf making it really easy and stress free.

Joined Alex and her team today for a zoom session ‘First Time Buyers Workshop’. The session was bloody brilliant! From start to finish! It was informative and all questions were answered. Alex delivered the session with plenty of humour but most of all honesty! It wasn’t too technical and the lingo was easy to understand-sometimes I struggle reading stuff on the internet because I can’t make sense of it; but everything she went through from costs to credit checks, and how to use a mortgage calculator were all easy to follow and understand I wouldn’t go to anyone else for info or advise. Me and my partner are first time buyers so new to the mortgage process. We wanted an adviser to look through the mortgages on our behalf and make sure that we were getting the best mortgage available.

How has Alexandra Gregory-Chialton helped you?

Alex reviewed all the current mortgages on our behalf and advised us on which ones would give us the most money available to buy a house for the least monthly repayments. Trying to get a mortgage during the Covid 19 pandemic has been incredibly hard and we would have struggled to do this with the current market by ourselves. Once we decided on a mortgage we sent all of our documents to Alex and her team and they then secured the mortgage for us. After having an offer accepted on a house, Alex then liaised with our estate agent and solicitor to make the process as smooth as possible.

We now have a mortgage agreed with a vendor and are going through the legal process with our solicitor for our house. Once we have exchanged contracts for the house we will have the outcome we were hoping for.
