When we were ready to proceed, she visited us in person and discussed all our options thoroughly. Dear Ingars, I am sorry that you are disappointed by the service I have given you. As explained over the phone on several occasions and via email on 5 July, I cannot help until I understand why you have been declined by four separate lenders in recent months for a mortgage. You have used two other brokers previously who you say have been unable to provide you with a reason as to why you have been declined. You have also gone directly to a couple of High Street lenders who have not approved lending. Please understand that I do not charge advice fees and I like to have a thorough understanding of my clients' situation before I submit mortgage applications. It takes considerable time to prepare and submit an application and I get no reimbursement for the time I have spent on an application if it is declined. Furthermore, submitting another application without knowing why you have been declined previously risks hurting your credit rating further if you incur a further decline, as each application involves a hard search on your credit file. That is not a good service for you. If you can email the brokers who have worked for you previously to let you know why you have been declined and copy me in, I may be able to help you. If you decide to use another broker, they will also want to know why this has happened. I rarely get decline decisions for applications I submit for clients as I have done my homework thoroughly beforehand. This protects both the client and myself. If, however, I do get a decline for a client, the lender concerned will provide a reason as to why this has happened. I also asked you to get in touch with the housing association to make a fresh application via the Right to Buy scheme, as your current application expires in mid-July. It would be impossible to have submitted an application and complete in this timeframe. I wish you well with the house purchase and hope you find this a helpful reply. What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I was trying to obtain a mortgage as a company director and high street lenders only seemed to want employed applicants. It was very time coming and a mind field trying to find the right lender. Jenny was very quickly able to take all of this away from me and came back with several lenders who fitted my requirements. Jenny was also able to help with house insurance and health insurance which was great being able to go through one person for all of this. It saved me a lot of time and hassle.

How has Jenny Whittle helped you?

Jenny was able to take all my personal details of earnings, accounts etc and find me by far the best lenders out there. I was guided all the way through the process being a first time buyer and she was always on the end of the phone if I needed help or too ask a question. Very quick to respond to my emails and my solicitors.

Yes definitely! very happy with what Jenny was able to provide for me with the lenders she had sourced. She has gone above and beyond all the way through the process right through until the end.

Myself and my partner were first time buyers looking for a mortgage product to purchase our current rented property from our Landlords. Our personal circumstances meant that we had far from perfect credit ratings from an historic period, and we were looking at a 95% LTV. Jenny has supported from making the initial offer, all the way to completion.

How has Jenny Whittle helped you?

Jenny has a confident can do attitude which is optimistic but realistic. She’s supported us from the beginning of our journey, analysing our credit files and advising on the correct products. Jenny supported with our price research, pointing us in the right direction allowing us to negotiate on price, saving time and money. Jenny also quoted and arranged our insurance cover to protect us if the worst was to happen. Communication was perfect, we were always updated with the progress of of the AIP, Mortgage Application and the completion date. Jenny has always been proactive responding to emails and phone calls within business hours.
