I needed some important advice from a person I could trust and John was the one I turned to. He is easy to talk with and we disused all the issues I needed advice on in one meeting. His no-nonsense approach has always impressed me, and I consider him a friend as well as a valued confidant.

I needed advice - initially on investment, then mortgages, then inheitance/wills/trusts

How has John Hughes helped you?

Over the years always reliable, knowlegable, efficient. He took my views and aspiratoins into account rather than just issuing blanket advice. I always felt I could trust the advice, not always the case with advisors. I have never regretted following the decisions we made together, and I felt he always was available and workrd hard for me.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes - the mortgage has been a godsend. Turned out to be better value than I could have possibly hoped. And I am very happy that my family is protected, even after I die.

John has personally provided me with Life and critical illness policies. I have also worked with him on mortgages for mutual clients.

John arrange life and critical illness cover at a favourable rate to ensure that the cost of raising my children and any debts would be covered in the event of the unforeseen happening to either my wife or I. He regularly provides independent mortgages advice for mutual clients.

John's genuinely has an expert knowledge in these areas which is second to none. He takes the time to understand personal circumstances to ensure the product meets the need. John is articulate, clever and witty making ensuring a first class client experience. I believe he is smart enough to succeed in any profession and his all round general knowledge ensures he is ahead of any new developments.
