My partner and I were planning ahead for buying our first home and we needed to sit down with an expert who could help us understand what we could afford.
How has Paul Kozyra helped you?
Paul looked at our finances and our goals and helped us work out how we could afford our first home. We worked out what price would be our budget for the purchase by looking at the likely mortgages we could get - Paul clearly explained the different options. Paul then quickly got a mortgage agreement in principle set up for us which helped verify our seriousness as buyers when we were at house viewings. When we had an offer accepted on a house we were able to quickly arrange another meeting with Paul to apply for the mortgage that best suited us. Again Paul talked through the options with us and his speed of service was key in securing a good interest rate at a time when the rates were increasing rapidly. Throughout the purchase process we were able to ask any questions we had, it was our first time buying a house after all and no question was too silly for Paul who always got back to us quickly. When the completion date got closer we sat down with Paul again and talked about insurance options and he again helped us secure the best deal for us moving into our new home.

Our sale and purchase did not go smoothly and Paul was in direct contact with our solicitors, even chasing up mortgages further along the chain to help us complete on the agreed date. Paul came to our house for all of our appointments, on a Saturday morning! This meant we did not have to arrange childcare which was amazing.

Nothing! I honestly cannot recommend Paul highly enough and I truly believe our chain would have collapsed if it wasn't for his help.

Initially we were looking into our finances to determine the timescales and associated costs of purchasing a house.
