Julian Taylor

Julian qualified as a solicitor in 1990 and before launching Julian Taylor Solicitors he set up and ran a highly successful employment department in a leading law firm with offices in London and the Thames Valley. He is a specialist in both non-contentious and contentious employment work and advises and represents clients in industry sectors as diverse as sport, publishing, retail, travel, IT, biosciences, scientific research, professional and other services, public sector, social housing, education and manufacturing. In addition, his experience as Head of HR at his previous firm means that he has practical experience of dealing with HR issues. Julian is interested in working with clients to achieve the most practical and effective outcome for them. He understands the flexibility required by clients, both in respect of their employment law and HR needs and the methods of delivering solutions to them. Julian has acted for employers and employees in both the Employment Tribunal and the Employment Appeal Tribunal.
