Johnpaul Ezeagu

Johnpaul Ezeagu is a dual qualified lawyer (Barrister and Solicitor). He founded JP Law Solicitors in 2014. He specialises in Criminal Law, Telecommunication and Media Law, Immigration Law and Commercial Law. He is a member of the Law Society Criminal Litigation Accreditation Scheme. In Civil Litigation, Johnpaul’s work covers a broad spectrum, including breach of contract/agreement, probate, commercial and residential lease, land dispute (TOLATA), distributor agreement, compromised agreement, and shareholders agreement. In Criminal Litigation, he had acted for clients charged with various imprisonable offences including organised crimes, drug offences, murder, fraud, assault, cybercrimes and cyberterrorism. He has acted for clients in a wide range of sectors, including hospitality, logistics, retail, technology, transport and show business. He holds Master degrees in Criminology and IT & Telecommunication Law. He is currently carrying out research in cybercrimes, cyberterrorism, software contract (exclusion clause), and medical law etc. as part of his Doctorate degree in Law. Some of his works are currently available online. He is a member of Law Society, Nigerian Bar Association and International Bar association. Outside law practice, Johnpaul is a Forensic Psychiatry nurse. He likes to go swimming with his two children. He is a Chelsea Football club supporter and he likes to keep fit.
