I was in an uncomfortable position at work and potentially looking at an agreement. This was all new to me and I didn't trust that they would follow the correct process so I wanted to find a Solicitor I could trust and would show empathy, which straight from the initial conversation, I felt Kathryn could and would do that

I was being made redundant by my firm and needed legal advice to for purpose of the consultation process and the negotiation of the settlement agreement.

Kathryn was then brought on to my matter. Our initial consultation, which focused on the settlement agreement, was an in-depth exercise and far exceeded my expectation. Kathryn ensured that she understands the industry in which I was employed and the structure of my firm and department before taking me through the clauses of the settlement agreement, providing her advice and taking my instructions as to the way forward. Whilst the financial offer was handy and helpful, my main goal was to push for the case to be heard at the Employment Tribunal, Kathryn explained to me what my options were and what I could hope to achieve realistically. Taking into consideration, the length of time it can take for a case to be heard and the financial strain, under the circumstances I think we were able to achieve close to the outcome I was looking for.
