Going through a divorce isn't something that life naturally prepares you for and when young children are involved the emotions run particularly high.

How has Mark Heptinstall helped you?

Mark was recommended to me via a family friend and I am happy to recommend him also. He has an excellent way of communicating the legal jargon into simple terms and also provided a focus on what was important and what was not which greatly helps to reduce the things you naturally tend to worry about. Mark was always one ot diffuse situations, advocate mediation or negotiate settlements without building expensive court fees, barrister fees. Then if you are unfortunate enough to end up in court he is an excellent person to have on your side. His calm and professional manner will get the results with the least fuss.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Mark carried me through the entire process enabling me to reach the other side with a modicum of sanity in tact. Both the divorce and child access arrangements were as good as I could have expected. It was Mark's personal skills that managed me through the toughest time in my life.

What could they have done better?

I was, and am still, hugely appreciative of Mark's support. I have a huge amount of respect for him and wouldn't honestly know what to suggest to improve how he supported me.
