Toby helped with financial advice on my pensions as I had 4 different ones. We discovered after assessing my budget, that I could actually defer taking any annuity by investing them. He helped me with my budget based on my current circumstances and explained everything in clear and concise detail, allowing me to discuss and go over things as many times as I needed. After careful consideration and making decisions on investing, I now have online access to my new pension investments and I can monitor whenever I want. Of course Toby has advised me, if any of my circumstances change in any way, I am to get in touch, and we can review again. This has given me peace of mind and the confidence to get on with my life without worrying about my finances.

Yes I believe so, but as a new pensioner, I'm only just setting out on the current stage of my life's journey. However I feel confident, everything that has been put in place makes sense to me as non "financial" person.

Being old school I would have preferred face to face meetings, but geography and my life events meant that this was unlikely to happen, even so Toby went above and beyond to make sure that we did eventually meet.

Toby is an excellent communicator. I am a complete novice in terms of financial matters, and have complete faith in all the steps that Toby has taken on my behalf to secure my pension and my future retirement. First of all I am delighted with the growth of my investments which are looked after by St James Place. What I did not expect was the level of advice I have received beyond this. With the help of charts and graphs Toby has enabled us to see where our finances are likely to be in the shorter and longer terms as a result of which we have been able to take two very expensive holidays safe in the knowledge we were not spending money we are going to need in later life. It should be noted that Toby's himself did not profit from this advice other than by increasing client satisfaction.

Lester Brunt's representatives at the seminar gave an honest and accountable delivery of what options are available to someone totally new into this environment, which I was, and their answers to questions from a forum of over 70 inquisitive people filled me with confidence that they have the resource and talent pools required to meet my expectations.

Toby's knowledge, transparency and communication skills has lifted my own knowledge levels and he has exceeded my expectations of going through a process that was a previously unknown area to me. His delivery of industry knowledge and processes to someone brand-new ensured I was fully informed of the details in a manner I could resonate with rather than being blindsided by jargon. During our meetings, he has been both proactive and responsive creating an open, respectful and safe environment for conversation to flow without making me feel pressured or uneducated, allowing me to ask the basics for my own understanding as well as being frank and honest with more difficult questions I had on my mind. I was recommended to Toby and haven't looked back! Having previously engaged with another adviser I didn't get the 'vibe' from so decided to reassess, I was glad I did! A friend told me about this guy who is honest, approachable and pragmatic so I asked him to get Toby to call me. 24 hours later Toby was on the phone and from the first engagement I knew I was getting sound advise. We quickly met up, talked about what I was trying to achieve and Toby nailed it - He got what I was trying to do, challenged my thinking which sparked a healthy discussion and 4 months in we are rocking!!
