What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I initially sought an adviser after relocating to the UK, as my investments were not being accounted for correctly under the new tax system. This led to complications, and I needed professional guidance to resolve these issues. In addition, I was looking for broader support with financial planning to ensure my finances were structured efficiently and aligned with my long-term goals.

How has Julian Frere helped you?

Julian has been incredibly supportive throughout the process. He took the time to walk me through all possible financial scenarios in a clear and structured way, helping me understand my options and make informed decisions. He also connected me with other professionals where needed, ensuring I had the right support in place. Throughout, he has been patient and understanding, especially when my knowledge was limited, which made the whole experience much more reassuring.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

I approached Julian with several situations that required support and resolution. Most of these have now been fully addressed, and I am very happy with the outcomes achieved. A few matters are still in progress due to their more complex and lengthy nature, but I feel confident they are being handled effectively.

Very good initial discovery meeting with Julian - tailored the discussion to my needs, gave an overview of TPO's services, was clear and transparent about future fees and different packages that might suit our family requirements. I was impressed by Juilan's pre-work as well, had taken the time to do initial cashflow forecasting even though this was our first in-person meeting.
