What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?
We realised that as we were getting closer to retirement we needed to ensure we were doing the right thing with our monies.
How has Paul Lloyd helped you?
We are very happy with Paul as a financial adviser. We have been his clients since 2007 after my brother recommended him to us. We are a Pharmacist and a Systems Analyst, now both retired. Although we have previously invested in various propositions, we have fared much better since Paul has been advising us. His input, specifically on pensions, has been invaluable.
Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?
Yes our investments seem to be progressing nicely.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?
First time buyer with no clue around mortgages or the way to go about starting the process.
How has Paul Lloyd helped you?
Advised me on different kinds of mortgages and guided me effortlessly through the all of the steps until completion. Even afterwards he has been offering advice and an open door to any questions.
Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?
Definitely. I would not have been able to do it without him.
What could they have done better?
Other than find me a 0% mortgage, nothing. Perfect, professional, polite gentleman who really couldn't do enough for anyone. His colleague Sarah was also equally as professional and helped me also. Thanks to the pair of you.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?
An inheritance from my father's estate.
How has Paul Lloyd helped you?
I had received an inheritance from my father 's estate and was approaching retirement age and therefore needed some financial guidance. This was new territory for me and I arrived with Paul Lloyd after a thorough search of available internet information and a selection process involving three IFA's in my geographical area. I found Paul very personable, taking great care to fully understand my particular needs and patiently explaining the investment processes that could deliver what I was looking for. I appreciated Paul adapting his explanations to my level of understanding (layman) rather than with more complex financial terminology I had heard from others. Paul 's review of my State Pension status also yielded useful longer term gains. As well as my existing investment needs (which were primarily resilience to the current market volatility) we looked at what I might need in the future in terms of flexibility, market changes and taxation as well as inheritance planning. I found this holistic approach both helpful and thought provoking. The administration related to the investments was quickly and efficiently handled and any communication handled promptly by Sarah even when Paul was unavailable. I have been a client of Paul Lloyd since the beginning of the year so it is early days but all of the indications are that I will be very satisfied with his services. As it is early days my value for money assessment against the parameters set above is provisional.
Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?
Yes, I now have a creditable plan to take me forward to retirement. Brexit will, of course, mean that matters will need to be further reviewed as the scenarios unfold.
What could they have done better?
I have nothing to suggest at this early stage of my relationship with Paul Lloyd
