James was very professional and explained my investment options very clearly. He was able to articulate my investment options in a language that made it easier for me to understand. James is highly knowledgeable and an expert in his field. I have a sizeable portfolio that James advised on how to spread the risk. I would highly recommend.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

To ensure I was well prepared for meeting my financial goals including early retirement. Despite working in financial services myself the complexities of pensions, saving schemes and investments never fail to amaze me so knowing I can rely on James and his team has been vital in my financial planning journey.

Yes as I am just about to implement my early retirement plans and feel confident that James and his team will support me as I transition to what I hope is a more relaxed period of my life.

To be honest I am currently very happy with the service that James and his team provide - I guess if I was not I would have taken my business elsewhere.

We already had an advisor, James took over when he retired

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I had a previous advisor who retired and James was able to take over. I initially looked for advice because of semi- retirement and use of a lump sum and investing for the future and this was some years ago.

How has James Caviel helped you?

Initially it was investing for the future just after I went into semi-retirement. But since the recent death of my parents, the advice has been different as it included dealing with inheritance tax and plans for efficient investments of funds.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

The latest planning and advice is still ongoing and not concluded yet because of the probate process, but I anticipate it giving us what we need as we are actively working with James and so confident of the effectiveness of the plans for us.

What could they have done better?

James did experience some problems that for a few months affected the process we were going through planning how to managed probate and the eventual investment of funds, but he was still open and honest and we worked with him and his colleagues in their office to keep things moving forward for that short period. Although it was a challenge and a difficult time for us after losing my parents, he and his colleagues worked hard with us for that short period to keep things moving forward which is testament to their professional approach.
