What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?
Initially I sought advise on planning for my retirement to ensure I a) had enough funds to retire when the time came and b) could continue to pursue my love of travelling in my retirement.
How has Gavin Johnson helped you?
Gavin listened to my goals for retirement and understood my priorities, and we made a plan to achieve these goals. Through regular reviews of my financial status and having a forward looking projection has given me confidence for the future,

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?
Having worked in healthcare for over 40 years I had a few different pensions and when it came to my retirement I needed to be able to manage them effectively and efficiently to see me through to old age. I had no real clue how to go about this. When researching pension advisors locally, Gavins name came up several times as a recommendation.
How has Gavin Johnson helped you?
From our first consultation with Gavin we were made to feel very at ease. He gathered full and detailed information about our financial situation, plans and hopes for the type of retirement we wanted. He then very visually demonstrated how that can best be achieved. He gaged the level of risk we were comfortable with and set about putting together a portfolio to suit this. Caveatting that this is changeable at any stage.
Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?
So far yes. We have only been with Gavin for a year, but at a recent meeting we were able to see positive growth of our portfolio, and have made some calculated risk adjustments following guided advice.
What could they have done better?
Nothing. Very pleased so far.
