Having worked in financial services since the early "noughties", I have experience in retail banking, life assurance and am passionate about financial planning. Technically an Independent Financial Advisor, I regard myself as a holistic financial planner, which involves first and foremost getting to know prospective clients. It's incredibly important to know what your life goals and aspirations are, what is most important to you and your family, what you want to achieve and when, and how to deal with hick ups or take opportunities along the way. Ours will often be a long-term relationship rather than a transactional one, with regular reviews to keep things on track as things inevitably change over time. I always say when it comes to financial planning it's not about what you know, but about the potential costs of not knowing what you don't know! Most of us want to live happy, fulfilling and enjoyable lives, money is just part of that picture, but an essential one that can help you achieve that as fast as possible.
