To validate our own understanding of our financial situation as we approach our mid 50s and the implications of that for the timing of retirement.

Clear explanations of our situation, filled knowledge gaps around specialist pension products and provided us with robust historical data about what we can expect the financial future to enable us to do. Crucial in this has been Richard’s desire to understand us as individuals.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes in part. Richard has validated our assumptions but also opened our eyes to how much further we might be able to take things. Only time will tell if it works out somewhere in line with the historical modelling predictions.

What could they have done better?

I am not sure there is anything at this stage that would have enhanced things. We are still to move into the estate planning side of things.

I was looking for pension and investment advice as I was looking to take early retirement.

Richard has helped me take a short, medium and long term view of my savings and pensions. He has advised me on how to invest efficiently and helped me understand my attitude to risk when investing. Richard has taken a holistic view when advising me and provided advice in multiple areas including pensions, income tax and inheritance tax.

Yes. I feel much more confident about my future financial security and having more of my pensions and investments on one platform has reduced the administrative burden.
