My initial advice was regarding the transfer of a defined benefit pension. Unfortunately, not long after I got divorced and Dean helped enormously following this later in life, change. Most importantly, he listens and nothing seems to be too much trouble for him to respond to.

I planned to retire in March 2022 and wanted to obtain an independent assessment of whether my and my wife's pension plans and other savings would be sufficient for us to enjoy a comfortable retirement. I also wanted advice on my options at retirement, including whether to consolidate my pension pots into a SIPP to facilitate drawdown. I also wanted to explore the merits of discretionary fund management (rather than a DIY approach) and was also keen for my wife to have an indpendent adviser she trusted to help manage her financial affairs should I pass away.

Dean has given us significant comfort about the adequacy of our savings through thorough financial analysis and prudent forecasting. He has helped us to set up SIPPs which provide us with the flexibility we are seeking and also to consolidate some of our other savings.
