I was nearing retirement and had been recommended Dean by a friend who was in a similar position.
How has Dean McSloy helped you?
Analysing the various pension schemes that I had - some of which had elements of defined benefit and defined contribution so quite complicated - to determine the best mix of guaranteed income and in a retirement pot for investment. It's now 15mths since I retired from full time work and the recent review has shown that there is sufficient regular income for our essential needs plus most of our discretionary expenditure with an ample liquidity buffer and the prospect of long-term growth in the pot. A great result!

What could they have done better?
Nothing - which is more than could be said for some of the pension providers who were painfully slow in responding. It was a good job that we had some income and savings to cover the time between retiring and receiving my pension income.
