What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I visited Christian following some changes to the rules around pensions and as I was becoming aware that planned retirement was not as far away as it used to be. I wanted an opinion on whether I was making the right choices for myself and my family, and whether there were any opportunities I might be missing through a lack of knowledge.

Christian and I met for a consultation and discussed my investments and plans, and what current legislation allows. Christian understood my financial situation and we talked about some of the options available.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes, I was super impressed by Smith & Wardle (and Christian's) integrity in advising me that all was OK and that I seemed to have a good awareness of allowances and investment options. As such, there was no need to pay for any further advice at this time. We agreed that it could be appropriate to get some advice as I'm nearing retirement, which I fully intend to do.
