Retirement was approaching so we arranged an initial few meetings with a colleague of Christian’s, and one who works with him closely.
How has Christian Lloyd-Williams helped you?
Christian has been very patient when we have required further clarity and next steps when making financial decisions with him and/or his colleague (HW), and he has also recommended other options for consideration.
Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?
Yes.
What could they have done better?
Christian is being guided and mentored by his more-experienced colleague. At this moment, we have no complaints with anything he has done for us. In fact, he has gone out of his way to help and advise.

I wanted advice on my financial situation as I approached retirement.

Christian took the time to understand my requirements and my situation. He prepared a detailed financial plan to show how my finances could support me in retirement. He also provided an action plan for how I could move forward.
Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?
Yes. The financial plan has been helpful and reassuring. Christian has updated it for me in light of the upcoming changes to IHT.

I’ve recently relocated to the UK after spending a number of years abroad and needed to make sure I have a good understanding of setting my investments up correctly in the UK market.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?
Recent became self employed so wanted some guidance and help with how to invest and save money, and also save up for first home. My dad has used Smith & Wardle for many years therefore I knew they would be very trustworthy.
