He has been married to his wife Andrea for over 30 years and they have four grown up children and two grandchildren. He has an eye defect which prevents him from driving, but despite this, runs a successful financial services business. He has clients all over the country and now is seeing children and even grandchildren of his original clients. His interests outside work are the local church and the study of Philosophy.
