Prior to seeing Nikki I already had a financial adviser who was about to retire. He strongly recommended Nikki as his successor and I agreed.

From the outset we felt Nikki was exactly the right adviser for us. As you would expect Nikki is clearly an expert in her field, but additionally she is friendly, patient and a great communicator who is able to explain complex issues clearly. We feel that Nikki is genuinely interested in our well being and that she is putting our interests first. This confidence and trust is so important given how much impact financial decisions have.

I was advised to sort out my different pensions and contacted Collective Financial Planning. I was allocated to Nikki and have been working with her since February 2020.

I was really ignorant about pension matters and Nikki explained everything to me in simple terms. I merged several pensions I had into a Pension Plan which is really simple to access and I can see on a daily basis how it is performing. She has also helped with Life Insurance.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

Funds were not doing anything stuck in a bank account

How has Nikki Pipping helped you?

Nikki has been our advisor for a few years since being recommended by a friend and from the start has explained everything we could do with our funds by way of investments (with all the possible risks involved) and also how to manage our pensions and make the most out of them. We also get a full quarterly report detailing our various investments and at any time we could contact Nikki for her advice.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Over the years the outcome has been as expected but obviously external events (Covid pandemic and Brexit) did have an effect which would have been worse for our finances if Nikki had not sorted them for from the beginning.

What could they have done better?

In the present Economic climate nothing

I had different pensions which I wanted to amalgamate.

How has Nikki Pipping helped you?

Nikki explained how pensions work and how much better it would be to have a pension portfolio as this would mean the money left in it after my death would go to my children rather than a pension which stops after my death. She did all the work on my behalf, contacting all the companies and talked me through everything. She explained everything to me in simple terms.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Definitely. There is an excellent platform which shows an up to date balance of my portfolio whenever I want. We have regular contact where Nikki updates me and makes sure there re no issues or changes in my circumstances.

Just before my retirement, I had multiple pension funds in place, which caused a lot of effort to manage. Nikki was recommended by a friend.

My Husband and I have always thought its imperative to have an annual review of your financial affairs and having the support of a informative and supportive financial advisor is a must for us from a young age. We wanted someone who could understand our requirements and gave us advice and knowledge on different areas of finance.

Nikki has helped with all of our long and short term investments for us as a couple and also our children. We have asked advice on pensions and simplified our finances to gain the most from our investments.
