What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

We first sought out Paul’s help when looking to buy our first home and more recently for remortgaging after our fixed term ran out

How has Paul Williams helped you?

He has taken us through the process step by step, advised us on options that would fit best for us and provided aftercare to make sure we are happy with how things have worked

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

100%. When we bought our house it was a smooth and straight forward process. We got our house for a good price and Paul helped us secure a great interest rate on a five year fixed term and, despite rates being much higher this time round, he has helped us secure a 2 year fixed term mortgage at a good interest rate again

What could they have done better?

My entire experience has been positive. Paul and his team just need to keep doing what they're doing.

Paul is a fantastic mortgage broker! he gave us great advice and has helped us get multiple mortgages.

Yes definitely, Paul and his staff are fantastic, we got both of the mortgages we needed and without Paul, Carrie and Cathie, we would have ended paying thousands of pounds more.

What could they have done better?

Nothing, Paul is the best mortgage broker that we have ever been to! he has gotten us a mortgage when others have said it was impossible, we wouldn’t go with anyone else.

Paul advised us on long term investments. He has up to date knowledge of where best to invest your money. He assesses your attitude to risk and always explains outcomes in an approachable manner.

We remortgage every 2/3 years. We must have used Commodore at least half a dozen times over the years

How has Paul Williams helped you?

Paul, Cathie and the rest of the team are always on the ball - from contacting us when we get near to the end of fixed terms, through ensuring we have the correct paperwork sorted and prompting us when we think we have ages to spare (we usually don't!). They are friendly and Paul has warm personality that you can't help but like.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes. Every 2/3 years we'll switch the mortgage to the best one available with a minimum of fuss.

We were looking to re mortgage, we went to see Paul and he went through all our options and answered any concerns we had. Paul went through all the different types of mortgages ( didn’t realise there were so many) and the benefits of them all. We would recommend commodore finance as they are friendly and efficient, we wouldn’t trust anyone else with our finances

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I needed advise as I feel I was badly advised when re Newington my mortgage 2 years ago. My sister had recently got a mortgage through Pail, she said he was though and really helpful.

How has Paul Williams helped you?

I have a mortgage in place for the next 2 years, Paul looked for the best deal and gave me various options to keep the monthly repayment magagable as I have the mortgage in my sole name. Paul gave me pros and cons of each option. Both Paul and his team provided an invaluable service. Any queries I had were dealt with , fully explained and very professional. I was able to pop in to the office when I needed help with printing forms. Nothing was too much trouble. Any time I contacted them they provided a same day solution.

Paul and his team have been amazing, working really hard to help us get the mortgage we need to suit our circumstances. Always providing us with updates and being very understanding. We really appreciate how hard they worked in the time scale we had. They also worked extra hard when the first mortgage in principle didn't go through they managed to find another one pretty much straight away. Paul also provided us with lots of advice for insurance and protection and explained everything very throughly, the team were very accommodating with my boyfriend being deployed and we couldn’t of asked for a better company! Thank you

Please provide a brief comment about your experience with Paul

I hadn’t used Commodore previously but contacted Paul recently for some independent mortgage advice. The overall experience was very positive with good communications and a helpful meeting. This was followed up within a couple of days by high quality quotes/documentation. In particular, I found Paul to be friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable. Although I had not used Commodore before, I only did so after some research to satisfy myself that they were a reputable firm. On the basis of my experience I would be pleased to use Paul again and comfortable to recommend to a friend.
