About

Areas of expertise: John’s main aim is to make clients' lives easier! John sees his role as one of simplifying the often confusing world of finance to help clients make informed decisions that are right for them. John advises high-net-worth clients on all aspects of finance (including pensions, investments and tax planning) and believes that as all clients are different, he will never adopt a “One size fits all approach” – “everyone is different, and it is only by working closely together that we provide the best solutions!” John feels that every new client should be viewed as someone you will work with for 20 years – and that long term relationships help establish the trust that is needed when dealing with clients finances. John has a great deal of experience having been advising for over 25 years – but can also offer a long-term relationship with new clients as expects to be in the role for the next 20+ years until his own retirement! Background: John has over 25 years of experience in financial services. John’s career in financial services started in 1998 with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) and in 2015 John moved across the Severn Bridge to live and work full time in London having previously been employed for leading companies such as Lloyds and Chase de Vere. John joined Bellpenny (now part of Ascot Lloyd) in 2015 and he now splits his time between London/Surrey and South Wales – but looks after clients all over the UK and still believes that face to face advice is important. John prides himself on always making himself available when clients need to see him – no matter where they live in the country. With this in mind John intentionally manages a smaller number of clients to ensure that he is able to provide a trusted and reliable service.
