David gave me advise on how to invest and use my pensions to get the best performance, he proactively manages them effectively for me and will advise if a fund needs switching due to showing signs of low performance

Far exceeded my expectations and return has far out stripped where they were currently sat and under performing due to lack of proper fund management, the pensions that I had and were amalgamated by David. Annual return has been far better than I could have expected

David and his company were very professional, I cannot fault the service that they provide and can highly recommend them. Faultless experience which I find hard to improve

I went into business 18 years ago and need to continue with my former company pension or start a new one. My accountant recommended David.

How has David Chew helped you?

He did everything. He took what I had told me what was best for to do for me and did it.

No, not yet but but so far so good. We have a couple of years to still. Hopefully we will reach our target but, we'll haveto wait and see.

I do not know as I am satisfied with what I get. I get an email every week showing my blalnce and movement. I also do a couple telephone reviews a year.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I realized I had a substantial amount of savings and an inheritance from sale of our family home. Then thought the banks were offering such a low return on my capital. This worried me as I knew to continue comfortably in my old age I needed to invest wisely. David Chew was recommended to me in 2015 and I have never looked back one day with any more fears even when the market was not at it's best.

David took a great burden off my shoulder by setting up my portfolio. He walked me through all the financial language at my pace and made sure all questions were answered at a level that made sense to me. I felt that my portfolio was was in safe professional hands. We were both coming up to retirement and we were looking for somewhere to invest our money and some inheritance so that we could live comfortably in retirement.

How has David Chew helped you?

He talked us through our options, taking into account our hopes for the future and our current circumstances. We were anxious at first making the plunge into retirement as we had enjoyed an active and comfortable lifestyle and since retirement 7 years ago we have been able to maintain this.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I had money in cash isa and an investment isa both of which were performing poorly. So I wanted to make my investment grow at a quicker rate.

How has David Chew helped you?

Assessed our attitude to risk and recommended an appropriate stategy with that in mind. Has continued to manage the investments since, monitoring the performance of individual funds in the portfolio and recommending changes where necessary. We meet with David once a year and he is available is we have questions whenever necessary.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes. Portfolio value has increased at a good rate. Obviously there are some fluctuations but that is normal when investing.

What could they have done better?

Nothing that I can think of.

I wanted to know if I could retire early as suffered heart attack in 2011.

He helped me clear my mortgage and also helped in arranging probate after my wife passed away.

I had received no advice from an existing pension provider. I made an appointment with David and he came to our house and explained my then existing pensions in a way that I understood how they were working.

How has David Chew helped you?

David explained to me how I would benefit by transferring my two existing pensions. He explained how the new pension would work and spent a great deal of time looking for the best investments. David made it easier to understand.

Yes totally happy with the transfer and the new investments. My pension is finally making money after years of minimal returns!!!

I have worked for a number of companies and had a lot of different pension pots, whereby I was paying lots of management charges. I also wanted to move and find a suitable mortgage.

David reviewed my financial situation and provided me with a number of options for consolidating my pension pots. He also provided me with some options for suitable mortgage providers.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes, once I'd chosen the best mortgage provider to suit my needs, David made all of the arrangements. David also managed contacting all of my previous pension providers and consolidated the funds into an investment vehicle, he regularly reviews my investments and to date I have been very pleased with the outcome, at times out performing the stock market.

What could they have done better?

I've been very happy with the service and don't have any suggestions for David and his team, they always keep me informed of progress on any requests I have made eg drawdown from my funds.

Year on year I have seen excellent returns on my investments with David managing funds in a way which respects my views without putting any pressure on me. He is quick to highlight funds that are not performing well and take the appropriate action after discussing it with me.

We were both approaching retirement and we were aware that our finances were not working for us as they should and we were both apprehensive about our financial security in our later years. David reviewed our finances and advised us of our options based on the risk profile we completed and gave us advice after listening to our hopes and expectations for a happy retirement. We meet annually to discuss how our investments are performing and any changes in circumstances . The meetings are held in a friendly, relaxed setting and we feel comfortable in asking any question and confident that it will be answered honestly and professionally. David is always at the end of a telephone to answer any queries promptly and we have confidently recoomended him to friends and family.

Effective and efficient communication and very easy to get on with. Has a very competent and efficient administrator who assists with any queries in his absence. Regularly monitors progress of investments/any other concerns and advises a better way forward at all times. Very easy to get on with. Note that David has been the family's financial adviser for well over 20 years and will recommend him to any prospective customer/s.
