What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I initially sought advise about mortgages, investment, and savings and from a Financial Adviser back in the 1980s. That person retired in February 2019, and I was introduced to Peter, who has been providing me with financial advice ever since.

How has Peter Ruff helped you?

He has visited me at my home to carry out annual reviews (or over the telephone during the Covid pandemic). He explains what has been happening to my financial affairs - and gives me written confirmation of how my portfolio of policies/bonds etc have done in that time span. He is very patient and makes me feel comfortable about asking questions - and gives understandable comparisons which I can relate to.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

I accept that the current financial market with the economic situation has been a challenge, but Peter has given me good advise and changed some investments with prospect of better returns. I trust Peter's judgement and feel confident that the outcome of these changes will be for the better.

What could they have done better?

I don't really think there is anything Peter could have done better to date. He responds quickly to my queries, and whilst he maintains a professional outlook/approach, he is also interested in my family and well being which is something I feel is important in an Adviser/Client relationship.
