What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

I was wanting to combine my 3 individual pensions together, also to join with my wife's pension and investments so we could start planning for retirement

How has Claire Marston helped you?

I really did not have a clue about pensions and how they were used and if we had enough. Claire explained everything very clearly and gave me the confidence to know what I wanted to do with my pension and savings.

As i am approaching the retirement age, I needed to look at financial plans for a stress free retirement.

How is Claire helping you?

Claire has been with us from the starr and has kept us updated as to what is going on and helping us to take things forward and always available with prompt replies if we are in need of any clarification.

So far we are in the process of setting up the plans to go forward and it is running smoohly.

What could they be doing better?

Cannot think of anything at the moment as things seem to be moving forward in the right direction and hopefully continues to do so in the future.

Recently retired and decided to get my finances in shape and simplified for retirement.

How is Claire helping you?

We had a quite a large and sometimes complex portfolio and Claire has been helping us make this easier to manage and understand.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Too early to tell as we have just started with Claire and AAB however so far the interactions with Claire, the modelling done and advise provided are all very positive.

What could they be doing better?

Not a lot at this stage - communication has been excellent and response has been quick. The ideas presented make sense and hopefully this level of service continues as we progress with our relationship with AAB.

Transfer a final salary company pension into a private pension fund.

Claire has given great advise on what would be our best options in the future with financial planning.

Currently the growth on the pension fund is slow but reasonably steady.

What could they be doing better?

I personally feel that Claire has provided us with a great service and I struggle to see what could be improved.

Going into retirement I needed advice on the best things for me to invest, given my personal risk aversion.

Claire is providing reassurance that my thoughts on my particular situation are correct.

My financial situation is not particularly problematic therefore the outcome was not surprising to me.

What could they be doing better?

From my initial and only meeting with her, there is nothing I can think of. I was impressed with her professionalism and friendliness.
