Our finances were disorganised, in ad hoc savings accounts and weren’t benefiting us at all. We were about to enter retirement, with lots of hopes for the future, and Andrew was recommended as someone with a professional and approachable manner, who could help us with a plan to get the best out of our finances.

I was looking to retire early and wanted to ensure I could be relatively comfortable in retirement without running out of money further down the line.

Andrew helped by analysing all the various pension schemes gained from my employment history along with my needs and goals for retirement. He then put together a comprehensive long-term financial plan which included consolidation of of the majority of my existing pension arrangements and placing the consolidated pension pot into a broad investment portfolio to fund the pension lifestyle I was seeking.

Definitely yes. I have been with Andrew for 13 years now and am living a comfortable, happy retirement. The ongoing reviews of the financial plan are always useful to review investment performance and check that everything is still on target. These regular reviews, the services provided by Andrew and his team along with the investment performance to date have provided me with the assurance and confidence that that I can continue to enjoy my retirement without overly concerns for my long term financial security.

What could they have done better?

Nothing I can think of. Andrew has also helped me arrange other aspects I did not initially consider such as introducing Solicitors to arrange Powers of Attorney (Health and Wealth), reviewing the existing wills for my wife and I along with providing advice on inheritance matters.
