Need for advice when planning for retirement plus the need to seek advice for pension pots over a specified value.

How has Daniel Whitton helped you?

Dan has a very pleasant manner. He is approachable, well informed and always up to date with the current financial situation and its likely outcomes. He has advised me on my retirement and what to do with my various pension pots. He has looked after my investment and although it has been severely affected by the global situation, I believe it is being as well looked after as I could expect under the circumstances. Dan has guided me to make financial decisions but has never pressurised me.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

My main investment has not performed as well as I had hoped, but it is largely affected by the global financial situation. I believe that every effort is being made to ensure it is sufficiently diversified to minimise losses. Other investments held elsewhere are subject to the same influences and are not performing any better so I'm satisfied that it is being looked after with future growth in mind. Another pension is providing a monthly income as planned.

What could they have done better?

Given the unpredictable global financial events that we have experienced over the past few years, I doubt that anything could have been done better in the absence of a crystal ball!

Needed someone to help with a lump sum that needed investing.

Yes the funds are doing nicely and should i need any money it is accessable when needed.
