How has Ian Howe helped you since your last review?

Ian has continued to provide valuable and valued advice on our financial affairs. He challenges our thinking when necessary which invariably leads to better outcomes. It is very important in our view to have a truly independent adviser who understands your aims and motivations. Ian is very good at promoting a sensible dialogue and then actioning what we have agreed.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for an adviser?

We needed to manage our pension assets better and figure out how much we needed, might need etc as we moved from employed to free agents.

How has Ian Howe helped you?

Ian was very methodical in his approach. He worked through our individual risk appetites and identified solutions to accommodate what we wanted to achieve. It was also reassuring to realise the ideals could be achieved.

Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?

Yes, though it will be a bumpy ride in coming months with global markets spinning as they are.
