We owned two properties in England and were selling both to relocate to Scotland and buy a single property.

We had a few set backs with regards to timelines both selling our properties and purchasing our new home. Tom was able to give advice on what to do in a variety of different scenarios/outcomes! Tom is incredibly clear at every stage as to how the different mortgages may or may not benefit you. I was able to tell him what was most important to us (low monthly payment / no tie ins etc) and he was then able to find the right mortgage for us.

My wife and I wanted to get on the property ladder and found the home of our dreams, knowing of Tom's exceptional service to other friends and family we knew we'd get trusted and sound advice from Tom and gave him a call.
How has Thomas Andrews helped you?
We found a home just before our wedding and Tom went above and beyond to help us realise our dream. There were issues that came up from the survey so didn't go ahead with the sale, however we found our dream home after getting married and Tom provided us with his expertise again. Tom have provided us with a variety of products from mortgage to buildings and life insurance. Top quality, great products which we'd never find ourselves that we're delighted with! We've recommended him to everyone we know as we're so impressed. We've even booked in our next meeting with Tom when our fixed rate finishes!.
Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for?
Yes, Tom has gone above and beyond. He made the entire process easy and smooth. Thanks Tom, you made an apparent 'stressful' experience as pain free as possible.

I had already dealt with Tom when I took out my very first mortgage with Santander and because I was so delighted with the advice and service that he gave I then decided to use him again when my fiance and I needed to get our mortgage together.

Initially looking at a re-mortgage, which then changed to a purchase of a new property.

We got in contact with Tom regarding a re-mortgage, he listened to our circumstances and quickly tailored the mortgage to our needs. Midway through the process we decided to buy a new property which Tom got on board with straight away recommending a suitable mortgage for us . Tom has been there through the whole process to guide us and made himself available at all times to answer any questions we had. Tom is friendly and relaxed with still remaining incredibly professional. He was able to break down which is a very complicated subject into a way we could understand which aloud us to make informed decisions.

Tom Andrews at Salcey Mortgages was extremely helpful and professional, and unlike other mortgage brokers/companies where we felt like we were on a time limit with lots of confusing numbers thrown at us, he was able to keep things very simple. Key aspects of the mortgage process, i.e. interest rate, repayments, deposits etc. were explained in a way that made sense to us (first time buyers who are new to this) and always made us feel like time wasn’t an issue, with him 100% focused on making sure we were happy and comfortable with everything. No matter what time of day also, Tom was always on hand to help us and answer any questions that we had, whether that be face to face, by phone or by email. I have had a great experience with Salcey Mortgages, my adviser Thomas was exceptional. He explained all the different types of mortgages and how much I would pay. He also helped out by finding me a solicitor for my transfer of equity type of mortgage as there were very few that were willing to take my case as it wasn’t a normal mortgage. I was pleasantly surprised with his enthusiasm, keeping me in touch with the solicitor and the mortgage company along every step. I became a contract worker just before I decided I wanted to buy my first property, because of this I was unsure if I would even be able to get a mortgage or if I had to apply for a certain kind. I had no knowledge of mortgages and didn't know where to start, so It was suggested that I speak to a mortgage advisor to get some assistance.
How has Thomas Andrews helped you?
Tom was recommended to me by a friend after he helped her with her mortgage and I’m glad I listened to her! Tom went above and beyond what I was expecting from him including dealing with my mum who bombarded him with questions in regards to her own mortgage as well as mine. He was always happy to help and nothing was too much trouble. He was able to explain all the options available in a way someone who had no clue was able to understand and advise which would be the best option for me without me feeling pressured in to it. He not only managed to find me a mortgage when i didn’t think it was possible but also helped me with life insurance cover. Cant Recommend Tom and his services enough,.

Due to Toms advice I was able to go forward with the purchase of a property, even when it looked liked I may not of been able to gain a mortgage he was able to assist with possible options to resolve this issues which I would never of thought of had I been dealing with it by myself. As a first time buyer who had no knowledge of the procedures and everything that went into buying a house, he made it extremely easy and not at all stressful. I felt every aspect was always under control and I didn't really need to do anything as Tom was on top of it at all times.
What could they have done better?
I can not thing of anything that Tom of could of done better at this time. As a new and growing business I was impressed at his commitment to my mortgage even though I know he had a number of other clients he was dealing with at the same time. His Customer are is excellent and couldn't approve in my option.

How has Thomas Andrews helped you?
We were given Toms name by a friend of ours and decided to give him a go. Best thing we ever did, he was prompt, efficient and had unbelievable knowledge. His attitude and attention to detail is second to none. I many times had questions to ask and thought i must contact him, only to be intercepted by calls and messages greeting me even before i could pick up my phone to call. He made our experience a much simpler one by just being there to help all of the time. There was never a moment he was not there to help or advise.
