What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for a legal adviser?

Needed to revise wills.

How has Richard Arney helped you?

I sent a letter to several local solicitors asking for a quotation to prepare our wills. Richard was the only one who replied promptly with a very reasonable fixed price (£300) for the work which was completed very efficiently.

What were the circumstances that caused you to initially look for a legal adviser?

Firstly to set up powers of attorney for my elderly parents along with changing their will. More recently Richard obtained probate for my mother's estate.

How has Richard Arney helped you?

Richard came to the house and met my parents - he explained what a power of attorney was and what it would mean to them. Richard was very patient and my parents felt reassured and secure with the information he gave them. Richard subsequently took all the stress out of obtaining the probate for my mother's estate.

Yes Richard has been extremely helpful and supportive through a potentially stressful time for the family. Richard always responded promptly to any queries we had.

I required his services to obtain Probate regarding my father's will.

He marshalled the assets, calculated IHT and dealt with all the necessary requirements. He also advised that there was a problem in the way my mother's estate had been administered by other solicitors and is addressing this issue.

A Grant of Probate has been issued but there are outstanding issues to be dealt with.

We required a solicitor in a case of a disputed will.

required the services of a Probate solicitor when I became involved in a Will dispute. Due to the delicate nature of this legal matter I required a solicitor who in my view would take positive action and provide legal protection for myself. I reviewed numerous company’s in the Midlands area. After an extensive research in this field of law, I channelled the choice down to a final few practices. I finally made the decision that Mr Arney of PSL solicitors offered the best experience and legal support in this field. Mr Arney provided myself with initial guidance on our initial consultation and advised me with the necessary legal advice on which to make an informed decision, in this matter. Upon completion of the initial consultation I employed Mr Arny to take on my probate case., After providing Mr Arney with the information and evidence in my case he took ownership and he progressed the case with sensitivity and professionalism from the offset. In my case his expertise and experience in these matters was very apparent. His use of evidence gathering and forensic experts provided a positive outcome to my dispute. Adopted the role of power of attorney and executor in order to take care of our father's finances; paying for bills outstanding and liaising with the necessary companies who were involved in the sale of the aforementioned's property. Richard dealt with these companies with discrete while showing a caring professionalism with the result that our loss became easier to bear.
